Before Lowe's became Lowe's, it was Eagle, and Jay had an endorsement contract with them. He was featured in commercials that often included his lovely Texas-born wife, Leah. As the Eagle hardware store, the store had a far more variety of stuff I needed and much better prices.

Pretty cool. I think I said this before, but I bought my first truck in Enumclaw. Nice area and so close to the big city. For some reason Eagle Hardware sounds familiar. Maybe it was from old commercials.

When did it become Lowe’s? I only stay on 410 going up by the golf course cause I got a club across the street and didn’t notice. But yeah Enumclaw is so different, they took the bowling and theater out that I use to love going to as a kid.

Yeah, that bowling alley is now a church where I am on the Men's Leadership Team. It's called the Plateau Community Church. Not a bad place at all. You guys should drop by sometime. Other than being Christians, we are also a bunch of hunting, fishing, outdoorsmen rednecks. On any given Sunday the parking lot is full of jackedup pickups and jeeps. If anyone ever tried to rob the place, they'd probably find 60 or 70 handguns pointed at them including several extended from a female hand.

My cousin and her family along with my aunt and uncle live in Enumclaw. Very nice area and I still can't pronounce the damn towns name despite my other cousins saying the name a hundred times over.

Hmm, very unaware. I’m usually in Enumclaw once or twice a month at the archery club I belong to. Use to work for the city for a couple of years then was a bad enough employee that got fired
