Well, glass half full:

1. Snell looks like Snellzilla again
2. Webb is Webbing
3. Harry won't be overworked this year
4. Ray looks filthy
5. Bird/Cobb/Hicks is a nice #5 situation
6. LWJ is getting healthy
7. Tyro could revert to his norm
8. Wise seems to be legit at SS
9. Chap might not K every AB
10. Matos could emerge
11. Heliot is Heliot
12. Yaz/Forto is a nice third OF situation
13. Bully is pretty solid.
14. Bailey is very solid.
4 is wishful thinking still
7 and 8 are serious stretches

The rest are legit arguments.

Even then, the right decision may still have been done incorrectly.
Because it made the org look heartless and cold.

I have always prided myself on the fact that the Giants treat their players “right” and are strong on alumni relations. Very rarely have players left the Giants on bad terms. That appears to have happened quite a bit under FZ.

If they trade Chap who will guard 3rd?????
That’s why I am not super-excited to trade Chap. I think he good to have around younger kids, and putting VR there is “investing” in someone the org doesn’t apparently like anyway. And Schmitt needs more work on his bat (that may be his fatal flaw)

Is Jim Ray Hart still around? Wait we have Matt Williams to fill in maybe.

I am curious how you think Schmitt regressed in AAA this year. His slash this year (.286/.348/.496) is much better than last year (..300/.346/.435) at AAA. His time in the bigs this year (SSS and all) showed more pop than last year. The only thing worse this year was his on base with SF was even more atrocious.

I didn’t look at his numbers. I was going off memory from earlier in the season when his numbers weren’t that good. I stand corrected.

And his numbers in April were awful. Shows how well he's done since then.
Even though he has played SS in his MLB career, he came up as a 3B, so MAYBE he can take over.

But from what I have seen of him so far, I am not convinced. He needs to be a LOT better than what we have seen so far before I am comfortable with him.

Also, if the O's want Snell I'd take Basallo.

Okay Bochy.

Speaking of, I wonder how Texas tzill is enjoying his AB moments.

Nick Ahmed is at Dodger Stadium. The Dodgers have signed him, a source said. Miguel Rojas to the IL.
