Wow, ok. Huge price tag for one. Lame duck season with looming free agency can be a distraction. Not getting an extension before the final year can be cause for drama, particularly for WRs. I would probably feel differently if DK was a perennial 1200+ YD, 10+ TD guy, but he's done that 1 time in 6 tries so far. He's as physically gifted as they come, but the numbers don't match up with the $ he's going to want. I am not sure why you can't see this, and I'm equally puzzled why you're just ok with him playing out the final year at a huge price.
Because we are paying that price no matter what. Keep him and he costs us 31 million. Get rid of him and he costs us 21 million and we need to replace him.
I don't think there is any way we can get anything close to his production for 11 million dollars.
Now if we are able to get a 1st round pick for him? Absolutely. Even a 2nd rounder and I think it may be worth it. As I said earlier, it starts to get murkier for me if we are talking a 3rd rounder. Less than that isn't worth moving him.
I feel like you just want to move on from DK. That's fine.
