Hands down...

I would probably take a 3rd. But maybe not.

We are a little down on DK but he's still a very talented receiver. And ultimately he wasn't the reason why the offense floundered so often.

Watching the football this weekend, what was blatantly obvious is that good teams have good OLs. The Eagles have 3 Pro Bowlers on their OL

Who was the last Seahawk OL to even be named a Pro Bowler, even as an alternate? Duane Brown?

Who's watching this WAS/TB wildcard game?

Commanders can't run the ball to save their lives, but they're keeping the play calling creative and still moving the ball down the field.

This is the kind of thing we've been starved of. How do our WR screens not go for 20 yards? Because our outside blockers have been shit.

Just an observation.

I'd say no to a 3rd. He's coming into his prime so if can't get a 2nd or a 1st than I say keep him and give him a contract.

I probably agree with you on this. Sure, an extra 3rd rounder would be nice but we would also have a very thin WR corps with basically just JSN, assuming that TL leaves but even if he doesn't he's nowhere close to what he was. The odds of getting a replacement level player in the 3rd seem pretty small.

I think thats what theyll end up doing, along with a geno extension unfortunately.

Yes, plus I don't want this team getting involved in tagging DK. 2nd 1st or new contract is best idea.

Agree with Flyer that TL most likely isn't coming back and a 3rd for DK is meh. If JS does that than he needs to have a good FA WR in mind opposite JSN.

I meant i think they extend him. My guess is very little personnel change outside of lockett, noah fant and who starts at LG.

I see. I still think that's option 3 if option 1 and 2 don't pan out.

As a general principle this organization does not make a lot of changes in the offseason unless it absolutely has to.

Honestly, I think that the Hawks need to make a few specific changes to turn us into a 12-13 win team. Specifically LG and OL depth. Address those 2 things in the offseason, while keeping the few FAs we have, and this team will be a lot better next year.

I know you favor the "blow it all up" approach but there is no way that the Seahawks will do that. In fact no team that consistently has a winning record will do that. Hell, the Steelers have had 15 years of the same thing and they keep running it back.

Yes no sense of urgency

I think thats optimistic. the niners will come back strong next year which is a shame because this season was a huge missed opportunity. The rams won the division by default.

How has running it back worked out for them? They'd have been better off tanking a year to get a QB.
Instead they draft Qbs like picket and mason rudolph, sign washed up dudes like wilson. Sure they win 10 games and make the playoffs but lose in the WC round.
Should steelers fans celebrate that?
If next year the seahawks win 12 games and go one and done in the playoffs, why should we be ok with that?
