Fuck Monty. He got what he wanted.
But fuck him.

I think people expected a sweep. They dominated all season.Business ain’t booming
That was a no brainer. That dude balled in the celts series. It's difficult for the Pacers to get stars in Indy if it isn't by trade or the draft. They had to sign him, not a bad deal too.
Business ain’t booming
The Celtics were just too good plus there were lots of injuries.I think people expected a sweep. They dominated all season.
Not necessarily......and could even argue the known commodity in a different situation will be better than mediocre (never mind who is to say he was mediocre?).He is an unknown.
That is better than a known commodity who is mediocre.

No chance Bron would go for that.Vet minimum actually.
steve Kerr's team plays pretty well when he's away, too. Nash no experience did not work out fine (like JJ also said to be hired because a star or stars wanted him there).I said could be.
Could.
Yes. He is very knowledgeable and he has a vibe with LeBron, which is pretty important for the short term.
You are too hung up on experience. He has tons of experience in locker rooms. He will learn on the job to be sure.
Steve Kerr had no coaching experience before the Warriors hired him. That worked out fine.
Reddick is a basketball lifer.
Borrego just seems like a meh option. Lakers need a home run, not a slightly above average coach.
Reddick could be a home run

In fairness (and I want to vomit) the Cavs is the better job.You may have competition from the Pistons for Borrego now

since I'm capable of seeing both sides in a discussion I can agree that's a good point about Nash being away from the game (if that's true as I didn't follow what he was doing post player career). But wasn't it true Kyrie and/or Durant pushed for Nash?I didn’t say he would. I said could
Comparing JJ Redick to Steve Nash is casual fan shit.
Steve Nash is a very odd person. He is not relatable. And after he retired, he was away from basketball entirely until he took the Nets job.
That is not JJ Reddick at all.
And why can’t Reddick have experienced assistants?
There was no chance Nash was going to work coaching Kyrie and KD.
This has a chance.
Guessing if we want him he would choose us over the Pistons...but agree if Pistons are a bird in hand and offer sooner he would not wait. I say this not knowing if he has ties that would make him prefer Detroit. Hell, or even if he's the Cavs first choice. Heard they will be interviewing a Mavs assistant who used to coach our G league team. You may have competition from the Pistons for Borrego now

The Cavs is the better job than the Pistons is what I meant since you said the Cavs may have competition since the Pistons need a HC.They have the younger roster, sure. That amounted to exactly one more regular season win this season. That "gap" could be attributed to Ham's hands in his pockets.

Also agree JJ could have experienced assistants. If you are saying he needs to be hired as a bigger name? OK. But that doesn't mean it works.
