If we ignore Jdub’s age and upside, Davis and Holmgren have similar skills sets.

And even if we ignore salary, just talking pure player value…

Williams is more valuable than Davis today.

Again, because of his age and his upside.

Yup, and not even mentioned is the fact that we have already seen Davis in a situation where he wasn’t happy. Sure he might be motivated, but that’s a backwards move for a small market team that can’t make backwards moves. Say what you want about the Thunder, but by now they know who they are.
