Anyone watching the clippers show on Hulu?
One thing is for certain, this is a win now move by Presti
They needed draft picks
Lots of draft Capital
$20 M a year isn’t massive by todays standardsThey are likely to hand Caruso a massive extension so I wouldn’t necessarily call it that. He isn’t a rental.
You guys are way under realizing the potential Giddey has. Way under. This is the type of move you get from a GM that is trying to save his job.
Caruso is the type of player that literally improves every team in the league other than maybe the Celtics. The number of offers he would have been able to cobble together for him and THIS is what he gets is just mind blowing.
And the worst part is that he literally has to commit to Giddey long term this off-season so it is cap expensive too by the end of the summer.
I actually like this hire for the lakers, which means I hate it. People don’t look at guys that are successful at whatever they do nearly enough.Interesting staff Redick is looking to put together. It'll be interesting to see how many he can get.
“Assistant coaching candidates for Redick’s staff will include former head coach and recent Trail Blazers assistant Scott Brooks, former Lakers guard Rajon Rondo, ex-Laker and current Dallas Mavericks assistant Jared Dudley and Cassell," wrote Shams Charania.

Didn’t @Mecca say she was all over it?Anyone watching the clippers show on Hulu?
I saw rumors out there that Derozan was also on trade blocksIt looks like they are rebuilding with Derozan but didn’t acquire any picks. I don’t get it. They aren’t contending. They are in that middle ground. Play-in territory
We then they are in rebuilding or tank mode if they trade him. At least that makes senseI saw rumors out there that Derozan was also on trade blocks
As long as Legs has been at ESPN?
I bet they keep him. And Legs strikes me as the loyal type.

Makes me a little more comfortable with the hire.Interesting staff Redick is looking to put together. It'll be interesting to see how many he can get.

They got a player that’s similar to Lu Dort. Dort is one of their higher salary players. There could be another move coming.Hell of a trade for the Thunder. Giddey may have more long term potential, but Caruso makes them better today, and in critical areas.
40% 3's and elite defense means Caruso can play at any critical moment, and takes pressure off of SGA on the defensive end.
