Talk of DeRozan and Jeremi Grant coming to the Lakers is dying about as fast as the talk of Klay going to Dallas is increasing. Both ain't worth the respective asking prices especially Grant and what Portland wants.

The numbers show they were absolutely different yes, nothing has changed that. They had a historic shooting season that didn’t end up being quite good enough. Of course the thunders chances were small, and they are going to continue to be small. Just how things are.

According to Harrison Wind of DNVR Sports, Jokic has reportedly been pushing the Nuggets behind the scenes to add veteran point guard Russell Westbrook. The 35-year-old former MVP is in the middle of the ring-chasing era of his career and is seemingly more than willing to take on a support role (with a cheaper salary) in the right situation if it means he can finally win a title.

Questions begin to seep in concerning the cost of getting Klay. The best scenario is for the Lakers to get Klay to accept the MLE. If Klay doesn't then the Lakers are going to have to go the S&T route to afford Klay which would start to eat into the young talent they already have and this is where Klay's age and increasing injury history begins to cause concern.

He also is not rushing a decision either. Looks like he is being pretty patient to see what both teams do.
