He has looked great so far! Very encouraging to see.I never like to read too much into spring training stats, but the fact that he's currently hitting .412/.412/.1.118 with 4 HRs is very encouraging to me.

I'm back from my hiatus. Good to see you AZ!Hey I remember you.
Is there a rule or something about minor leaguers in major league camp? People actually talk about Campbell and Clase, especially Campbell so why not keep them with the big camp longer? Doesn’t matter at all in the big scheme of things just seems weirdOptioned to AA Arkansas (1):
Right-Handed Pitcher (1): Isaiah Campbell
Optioned to A Everett (1):
Outfielder (1): Jonatan Clase
Re-Assigned to Minor League Camp (3):
Left-Handed Pitcher (1): Justus Sheffield
Outfielder (2): Jack Larsen, Robert Perez Jr.
Today’s roster move leaves the Mariners with 66 players in their Major League camp: 38 roster players and 28 non-roster invitees.
My thought as well. It isn't like NFL where you have a cutdown date each week or so. They will still play. Mot sure about the compensation factor though. I know minor leaguers were complaining about that last year. They don't get paid I believe or its minimal. Is there a rule or something about minor leaguers in major league camp? Yeah I can see it happening. I think the line has to be drawn somewhere though.Your part about the commercials I do think is sadly going to be a huge part of the game if players salaries are going to keep going up in all sports. Teams value are ridiculous because of tv rights fees keep going up but I read somewhere that most local baseball tv contracts are going bankrupt or on the verge because they guaranteed way too money. The whole tv money stuff is fascinating because none of it makes sense at the moment because sports is the only thing that is keeping cable tv viable but sports alone can’t justify people paying the cable rates. So in theory there will be a shit load more ads plus baseball uniforms will look like Nascar cars.
