Projected OD Roster:

C -- Bart, Perez
chance: Wynns, Sabol
IF -- Craw, Flowers, Tyro, JD, VR, LWJ
chance: Diaz
OF -- Hebrew, Yaz, Slate, Meetch, Forto
chance: LuGon, Ramos
SP -- Webb, Cobb, Manea, Stripling, Disco/Wood
RP -- Doval, Trog1, Trog2, Brebbia, Alexander, JJ, Disco/Wood
chance: Waites, Hjelle, Long, Szap, Dabovich

Might not need 8 relievers early on with extra days off. Sabol could be the beneficiary here as he's LHH and can play a number of positions.

It'd be great if he was finally ready...

Also looks like there is at least a 1 in height difference.

For one reason or another.
I'll admit to choking back a tear in Game 5 of the 2010 WS. The Giants had never won the WS in my lifetime. Went nuts after "...back goes Murphy on the run...three run homerun Renteria!". Then when Wilson dominated the heart of the Rangers order in the 9th...it still makes my heart skip a beat.

It's silly, but this still fires me up:

Per MLBTR:
"The Giants officially announced Perez’s deal, which is a minor league contract. Perez can earn a $2.5MM guaranteed salary if he makes the big league roster, with another $1.5MM available in incentives."
Interesting that both parties would agree to this, esp Perez. He must be pretty confident that he will make the Giants roster.

It isnt like he is an allstar. He is a sub-200 hitter who played in about 20 games last year. He is basically Curt Casali with less bat and MAYBE more glove.

Very nice. I can't find my favorite video as a standalone, but it is embedded here in a BTTJ highlight video, starting at 7:47

thanks for this. A few things I'm reminded of:
1. Timmy was so...phuking...dominant. Man I miss him.
2. That defense -- Uribe, Rent, Franchez, even Huffer....elite
