one more year Bergeron?

He's really going to have to play well defensively if he is on with Lucic because the Flames were trapped in their own zone every time he was on the ice last season. He's (Lucic) not a NHL player any longer.

Am I the only person who didn’t really see this as a great match in their time together? Something just didn’t look right and it’s beyond the lack of scoring compared to what he was putting up in SJ.
Feels like a "hope Hughes will bring him to life" thing. If they gel it will be something special.

Checks Reilly's age.....yep seems legit. :L

EDIT: This means that Zucker most likely will not be back. Seriously only the Penguins make it possible to get older with their replacements.

Using CapFriendly data, the average age of the 16 Pens under contract is...............

31.4

That is insane.

If memory serves, the 1966-67 Leafs (nicknamed the "Over the Hill" gang) won the Stanley Cup with an average age of 31.

Sooooo I looked that one up too

Counting only the 15 guys that played 50+ games (and the 2 main goalies), the ave age was 28.3

Definitely had a lot of oldtimers (36+) including: Kelly, Armstrong, Horton, Pronovost, Stanley, Bower and Sawchuck. But there was also a strong core of under 30s: Keon, Mahovlich, Ellis, Stemkowski and Pappin.

So not as old as Punch made them out to be.
