Hockey in non-traditional markets will always have its share of adventure and wonderment.

When the NHL Awards show started, Dierks Bentley came out and sang a hockey anthem. Tried to get the audience to sing along LMAO. I was a little surprised too, until I looked at MrsBGD. She had a puzzled expression and had no idea what he was singing. Neither did the audience.

Non-traditional markets....

in the last week, I heard someone (a flames reporter guy) say what hampered Huberdeau last year on ice was not having a guy on his line who could play with speed, gain the zone and push the defenders back to make room for him to operate (Duclair did that for him with the Pans) so maybe the idea is Yegor does that ... top line though ??? gonne be some defensive issues there I think :noidea:

Getting a little additional cap room plus another pick in the draft is not bad work by Conroy.

Toffoli is a really smart offensive player but he's pretty damn slow. He loves even a quarter of a step and he could be done.

I don't mind this trade at all for the Flamers.

Dutter playing Huby on his wrong wing for a good chunk of the season likely didn't help either - Let's wait and see what happens, but it's a better return than what the Flames got for Johnny Hockey lol

Am I the only person who didn’t really see this as a great match in their time together? Something just didn’t look right and it’s beyond the lack of scoring compared to what he was putting up in SJ.
i only watched the Devils in the playoffs, but he was absolutely invisible.
