Kenny is a football guy. Knows the game really well.
According to Dulac he suffered a setback on his foot he injured in camp... Scheduled to undergo surgery.
But is it just me, or is that situation seem fishy? Like why didn't they divulge that last week or prior? Seems like a pretty damn easy thing to say if it really was the issue. CA3 had an interview a week or 2 ago and said he was healthy & ready to play. Then Canada claims he's too far behind & doesn't know where he fits into the offense. Alex Kozora said he was practicing yesterday.
Doesn't sound like he had a "setback". Seems more like they just didn't want to let go of 1 of their roster spots so they decided to stash him on IR & claim it was his foot. Even if it was nagging him, it clearly wasn't preventing him from playing.
Yep. Said something like he'd have to "jump on a moving train".Yet another reason why Canada should be fired if he can't prepare a scheme for a very fast WR.
LOL a team that hasn't score more than 20 pts a game. Yeah that isn't a moving train, more like a snails pace.Yep. Said something like he'd have to "jump on a moving train".
Pretty damn funny considering Canada's playbook depth.
I'd bet nothing happens. We have officially crossed over into the Mike Brown system.Week 9 --- @Complacency and ignorance.
There are 13 days between right now and the next game, at home vs. the Saints.
There are glaringly obvious problems. Will Tomlin and/or the Rooneys acknowledge it and make needed changes, or will we continue to ruin this rookie QB and piss off and jade the rest of the roster. There have been calls against Tomlin before, but his seat has always remained cold as ice. The Rooneys are pissing on this team's history letting things continue to fall apart over successive seasons.
In 13 days, the #32 scoring offense in the league hosts the middling-to-suck Saints, and will almost certainly enter the game as dogs.
I don't mind losing, or even losing out. I do mind losing like this. The PS are JV.
Yeah, unfortunately.I'd bet nothing happens. We have officially crossed over into the Mike Brown system.
Agreed. If Tomlin isn't willing to change the way he coaches then he needs to go. His micromanaging style in combination with how clueless he is has been detrimental to this team.Yeah, unfortunately.
We lost JuJu to this shit, and he's looking like a Pro-Bowler again on a real offense.
Who we gonna lose this offseason? How long until players ask for a release or trade?
This comes from the top. The Rooneys have to make the change. Tomlin isn't going to change his spots on his own.
We need an offensive-minded head coach. Roethlisberger hid our warts for a decade.
They were satisfied with maintaining mediocrity for a decade. Now they don't even have that.Agreed. If Tomlin isn't willing to change the way he coaches then he needs to go. His micromanaging style in combination with how clueless he is has been detrimental to this team.
I feel like the winning seasons streak is the worst thing to have ever happened to this team. It has somehow covered up Tomlin's perpetual failures & general mismanagement of this team.

Coach Cliché and his empty threats. Is this yet another, "we'll unleash hell in December" type of situations? Or is he just sayin, Tomlin is "locked in" on that top 5 pick?
Terrell Edmunds Says Mike Tomlin Is 'Locked In' After 2-6 Start: 'You Can See His Competitive Juices Just Boiling'
The Pittsburgh Steelers haven’t had a good season so far, sitting at 2-6 as they head into their Week 9 bye. Safety Terrell Edmunds said that the team’s record has head coach Mike Tomlin’s competitive juices boiling, per Brian Batko of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. “He’s locked in. He wants us to...steelersdepot.com
The rest of the schedule has a lot of 'winnable' games... So don't be surprised if he claws his way back to extend his "no losing season" streak.Coach Cliché and his empty threats.
For Okorafor just imagine liking a post that shows you failing at your job.Things falling apart.
I want to keep him. The only scenario where I would trade him is if he asked for it, and to go to a contender. So there seems to be a lot of folks against trading Heyward today.
As much as he is "a Steeler" at 33 years old and that contract it could put them in a better position next year with more picks and cap space.
Honestly indifferent about trading him because at some point soon they will need to replace him.
