Boston is a really good defensive team. Think that's evident when both KD and Irving played below their normal level of play.

From reports they want an All-Star player for THT. I don't think that is true but it seems like if they could just flip him for a veteran 3-D guy that would be good enough. He really isn't that good.
He's also still just 21. And has already improved on defense and can still improve there and other areas.

It doesn't matter, sure he could have all the potential on the world but we aren't seeing it. We see flashes but we saw flashes with Ingram, Lonzo, etc. and all those guys were high picks. The fact is this team is stunting his growth so if he breaks out it won't be until after they trade him. Gotta settle for less....no way they are getting a All-Star type of player for him. They were being super-polite because Kyrie wouldn't improve as long as Lebron is the point guard - and I am fine with that a long a it's his natural calling - but Lebron is the moron that pushed for Westbrook. Now to demonstrate the genius(not) of Phil Jackson - who was pushing for the Lakers to trade LeBron and Keep Westbrook.
The options aren't that attractive though.....Detroit, Orlando, Indiana and I don't think SAS or Portland needs another guard.
Irving and James won a title together.....and Irving is actually better playing as a SG (like when he won with James).
