He’s a central figure in NBA media. He’s a straw that stirs the drink. He and Zack Lowe right the narrative and the flooded market of talking heads take their marching orders from them. Have you ever listened to the Simmons podcast? If any guy from the Ringer has a take that disagrees with the Simmons narrative he grinds them into a nub verbally until they assimilate. They’re all automatons.
*write not right. I’m a fucking moron.

Seems like they could use a former MVP point guard...

:bolt:

Their second round pick at pg is doing fine and they have McConnell….who they should trade to a contender

Even nunn and Jones for McConnell is a w for the lakers and Indy gets some seconds

Again, if Russ is moved. He won't be if teams are sticking to one pick to take him, another to get players added.

That’s why a deal like det makes the most sense

Fill out with depth and keep a pick to use with Beverly for another move

Murray is better with the ball in his hands and they already had a ball dominant guard.

Gobert is traditional center who clogs the paint to pair him with another scoring center and a young star wing who likes to get to the basket.

The problem isn't really either of the players faults necessarily, but an overall organizational error in roster construction.

Pointing your finger at an opponent after making a bucket falls under taunting. This isn't the playground.

Maybe after the bucket Alvarado player said something to Kornet that the ref heard. The angle is tough to tell if he said anything though.

Det wants an unprotected first and a good young player for Bog alone. Can't imagine that Russ/1st is going to get a multi player deal done. I'm not willing to throw in Christie (team might be) or Walker really. Two steps forward, one step back doesn't make much sense.

That laker pick has more potential than other unprotected firsts though so could balance out

I would kill many people to get Murray on the Clippers.

Oh, so many….lol

I’m really curious want the hawks want to do

If you had more expiring deals I could definitely see a play

At this stage in the season there's very little point in trading Westbrook along with first rounders. He's got 40ish games left before his salary comes off the books.

The Lakers are looking pretty solid, despite the injuries and Russ has been doing fairly well off the bench.

The Lakers aren't going to be NBA champs this year. But they stand a good chance to make the playoffs and maybe make it past the first round if they're completely healthy.

Did you see the tweet about how this take is mathematically false?

They gave up four 1st rounders, right?

Who outside of The Knicks, Thunder, Jazz could give them that many back?

3 I think

Phoenix has their full collection of picks and is looking for a ball handler
