Anyone with some time, check out the All The Smoke Podcast with J-Will. It was a fantastic interview and pretty entertaining. One of my favorite players to ever watch hoop.

What is embarrassing is that ownership would allow any player, much less a player of such diminishing skills and questionable character, factor into such a decision.

Yeah, diminishing skills or not, it's smart for a franchise to consult with their star player(s) before making a decision on hiring or firing a coach.

But consulting is very different from allowing the player to be a driving force in that decision.

That's why he's alive.

If he named names there would be billions of dollars pouring in to claim it's not true anyway. And the masses would believe whatever the TV says. Why would he risk it?

lol

Are you in a mental hospital?

Because you should be.

Watch out for those black helicopters.

So, the Bulls are interviewing guys like Brandon Miller, despite not having a 1st round pick.

Lavine to the Blazers for #2 and salary would be my guess.

That would change the course of the East for sure

Stay or go it probably does. If he stays and D'Antoni is the coach, does Embiid want out? If he goes via S&T, could the Sixers actually improve with more depth?

Rockets have enough cap space to sign him outright

True, but is there someone they want to move or that would be duplication with Harden coming? KPJ perhaps? Don't know if Philly would want him, just wondering aloud...

Nope. KPJ is a loser and needs to stay with Harden in Houston.

Sixers best bet now is to take 2023-24 as a sort of reset year. Next summer they will have a ton of cap for two max guys. One of those will be a bag for Maxey. They should be able to shop for someone. It’s essentially 2021-22 all over again with no Ben Simmons and then getting gimpy Harden for the stretch.

Sixers will likely drop to a 5-6 seed without Harden.

I wonder what Houston is going to get for tampering? There has been published shit since Christmas saying Harden to Houston. In fact, apparently their ownership was asking candidates in coach’s interviews how they would feel about coaching James Harden. That’s a player under contract and still playing for the Sixers being brought up in an interview like he’s a member of the Rockets.

I mean, you can ask them that when he’s your obvious #1 target

But yeah, they should be losing a 2024 second

They don’t even know yet if he was going to opt out…unless of course they were talking to his agent at Christmas when Doc was giving him shit about going out and partying on the road.
