My unabashed Lakers hate aide, this is a good team.

Health and a consistent 3 pt shooter and off you go.

The only reason you are in a pickle is the timing of the trade.

Had you had this team all season, you would be a playoff team, not headed for the playin.

But, I seriously doubt you could have gotten this particular deal done any sooner.

…..and definitely NOT at that price point.

So, it is what it is.

They should try activating Swider for some of these short-handed games. Shooting 44% from 3 (170 attempts) in South Bay. Plus, he's 6'9 and can rebound a little.

After watching Walker Kessler, I got my eye on Zach Edey, Purdue.

Clippers will likely end up with the Bucks pick after the Eric Gordon trade.

Other guys I like in that 28-30 range…..

Wilson is older with a huge offensive usage

But he’s only ok defensively and the lack of “stocks” is a red flag


Jacquez is weird cause he scores well defensively but is supposedly a terrible athlete. Really curious how he tests

Hell, I'd take Jayce Johnson off GS's G-league team on a 10 day. 7', 245 lbs, 13.3 reb and 1.3 blocks in 25.7 mpg. Not a floor spacer whatsoever, but just need him for rebounds, defense and put backs.

Well stated. He’s very adept at playing passing lanes and collapsing to help on dribble drive and still being able to get and contest on distance shots. The last two years in Philly (because he didn’t have anybody else as Simmons was still developing as a perimeter defender) Brett Brown used him as the guy who he would put on the other team’s best offensive player and he didn’t perform well in those spots. Your Celtics torched him. He is a streaky shooter though. He’ll go and hit 37% because he’s 27% for 2 weeks and then he’s 47% for the next two weeks.

I think the Morris twins right now are just an “idea” living on a reputation. They’re still all day tough but the skill set is on the back end now and they aren’t what they once were. Great analysis here on my part…player gets older and wear and tear makes him less effective. Derp derp derp Captain Obvious.
