Hey, Vandy is a starter now?

I like that.

I think Dennis should go to the bench in favor of Beasley as well.

They put the new guys (D'Lo, Beas and Vandy) in as starters as they've got experience playing together. Then have AD and Lebron fill in the rest of the lineup.

Good decision IMO

And Dennis has thrived as a 6th man before so I'm sure he'll do well there. Also like Rui coming off the bench.

I'm not so sure about intentional stat-padding, IMO that's just a result of always having the ball in his hands. His lack of shooting touch just makes everything he does out of control, since he seems to know one speed (on offense anyway). At times, that's a great thing. At other times, you get bricked layups or terrible turnovers.

And that's the whole problem - he NEEDS to have the ball in his hands. Even if there are a dozen better options on the team.

The amount of times i've seen the Lakers in a winnable position, only for Russ to demand the ball, is astounding.

In January alone, the Lakers probably would have won the games vs Dallas, Philly and Sacramento if he hadn't tried to be the hero.

Thats pretty sad.

Simmons could have been an absolute superstar in this league if he just had the right mindset.

To me it looks like he worked just hard enough to earn a max contract, then gave up.

Fucker will probably end up playing in some lower ranked Australian League, with enough money to buy the whole town

It is a 90 minute flight so they got to Sacramento after 3 pm local time for a 7 pm local time start. Let's not act like this is your standard rest BS. Probably not even going to a hotel
