Had to run to the store this morning to get some fixing for pot roast. It was minus something and yet again there's a jackass wearing shorts.

What are these goofballs trying to prove?

That they are under the influence.

NBA contender tiers: The teams that can win the 2023 title

As the NBA emerges from the All-Star break, 13 teams can be taken seriously as contenders -- and yes, somehow the Lakers are one of them.

Even though they're labelled as "The longest shot", I'm surprised to see the Lakers there. They shouldn't be

IMO neither should Sacramento, the Clips, Heat, or Warriors

Even though they're labelled as "The longest shot", I'm surprised to see the Lakers there. They shouldn't be

IMO neither should Sacramento, the Clips, Heat, or Warriors

Heat should, if healthy.

Everyone else has at least haymaker of a chance.

Probably meth. Big-time problem around here. Here's a list of places since last Dec. that had to shutdown the public library due to people smoking that poison in the bathrooms- Boulder, Littleton, Englewood, Colorado Springs.

And Boulder Creek at one time was a nice place to hangout, go for a walk/bike ride but since '20 the area has been taken over by meth-heads & homeless. Not sure why the city has done pretty much as little as possible to clean things up.

Normally I would say yes. And originally I left the Heat off my post before I edited it.

But I don't see them beating Boston, Philly and Milwaukee. Maybe even Cleveland. And to reach the Finals I see them having to beat at least TWO of those aforementioned teams.

That being said, all those teams are an injury away from a shock upset though.

Are you in the part of Colorado that closed the schools because of the snow?

Not recently. Had some pretty cold morning lately and some schools here in town did open a little later than usual. But I don't pay close attention to stuff like that anymore. Just what I see on the local early morning news.

I would like to see that.

I see the Lakers standing a little more chance against the Clips now that Westbrook has gone that way

But i'm sticking to my original Clips in 6... as it currently stands.

Could go to a 7 game series if Russ is being Russ and the Lakers somehow figure it all out

If they both make it to the Finals it'll just be easier to bury my head in the sand until the Lakers become relevant again...
