He's a stat padder. And that's all he cares about.

He'll make the HOF on his numbers alone but the only way he wins a championship is if he takes a "Gary Payton on the Miami Heat" role. And with his ego I very much doubt he'll ever do that.

I'm not so sure about intentional stat-padding, IMO that's just a result of always having the ball in his hands. His lack of shooting touch just makes everything he does out of control, since he seems to know one speed (on offense anyway). At times, that's a great thing. At other times, you get bricked layups or terrible turnovers.

With the last roster spot, I would love for the Lakers to get Carmelo Anthony back. Even for like 10 min a game.

I would like that sentimentally, but for the needs of the roster I would prefer a guard defender or a big for depth. Jay Huff would be an easy fit at C from South Beach. If AD misses time again, I'm not liking a mix of Bamba and the smaller guys to replace him.
