I don't think it matters what kind of year Lock has - the Broncos will be looking for the best QB for the team next season. It's conceivable that Drew Lock can have that kind of year where he makes himself the answer to that question, but not likely. In his first year with the Broncos Drew Lock seemed to infuse the Broncos with a spirit - that Drew Lock wasn't there last season. If your team plays for you and believes in you - that can help overlook some flaws in your game.If Lock wins the job and has a good year, do you keep him as your future QB or do you trade him and go get Rodgers, or another vet QB?
To me you stay with the young guy, but the level of success can alter the team’s view there.
