The problem with that is he's too loyal to his coaches. He should get more hands on but I'm not sure he would step on Norton's toes.

The Clowney situation is starting to get frustrating is he going to sit out the whole season? I am disappointed John in not just pulling the trigger on Everson Griffin I don't see how Clowney at this point will get anywhere near the amount of money he wants. If nobody offered you the money when we all had cap space then they probably wont minutes before the season starts after a whole offseason.

Apparently Reed left practice yesterday with an injury (leg/limping). UGH...

First padded practice is today. Seems like the Jarran Reed injury is not very serious, which is good news. PC characterized it as "sore" and said he could play if there was a game, as reported a few minutes ago by Tom Wassell.

One positive note healthwise is so far I believe only 1 player has been on the COVID test (John Ursua), and it was a false positive.

A couple other observations on today's first full pad practice: Chris Carson is a full go, appears Dissly is as well. I also see Duane Brown and Jarran Reed both out there. Greg Olson has his customary #88, and it looks like Dissly has switched to 89. I hear Pocic is now a full time center.

Another thing I've heard reported and talked about a couple times today: Marquis Blair is being moved to or at least will compete at nickel CB. I am guessing this is less about "failure" at safety than it is about coaches liking his ability and realizing there isn't going to be much opportunity for him to get on the field at either safety spot as long as we have Adams & Diggs. This secondary should be impressive.

That's good... We have a lot of young and unknown talent on the DL... but we really need them to stay healthy this year. I'd still love to grab a 1 year deal out of Clowney or even Snacks Harrison as we had one of the worst rush defenses in the NFL.
