he was only suspended for the last two games ( Playoff games don't count ) so if they drop a 8 game suspension on him he still has 6 games to go. Right now though there is no amount.

Damn that sucks. JG fits in well with this system. Hopefully he'll get a much lesser amount of games susp.

Griffen would help. Also could be a ploy to get Clowney to the table. Surprised he is still hasn’t signed with someone. Contract with a signing bonus would assure him some $ even if the season gets cancelled.

Possible depending on what exactly the "lack of evidence" is.
I wouldn't be surprised if the NFL tries some sort of punishment but I doubt it would be 6 games and they would be open to a lawsuit from Dunbar (again, depending on what specifically the "lack of evidence" means).

It is also not a domestic violence case where the police couldn't prosecute because the woman didn't press charges.

If they suspend Dunbar he will 100% sue them.

I have said this before with the Zeke Eiliot case. Didnt the charges get dropped and they still suspended him like 4 games after he appealed it from 6 or something? To me that goes to show that Goddell wants to make examples of people to make it known that if you even get into trouble we can take your game checks.

Domestic violence situations are completely different.

Ray Rice wasn't charged with anything because his wife didn't press charges.

Zeke Elliot had 3 separate incidents of domestic violence allegations.

In this case the NFL has no evidence that Dunbar was even there. Suspending him simply because of unverifiable accusation is a pretty huge reach.

Unless there is information we are unaware of, I would be VERY surprised if Dunbar is suspended for a single game.

Remember how Mychal Kendricks was going to be suspended?
