Doesn't look like there's a way to watch the NFL without paying Hulu $70. The whole Disney+ ESPN+ thing was a lie to get you to sign up. So I canceled that. Fuckin lying scumbags. Hulu wants $35 for me to watch it and then cancel the Live portion lol.

So I'll be following along via NFL Radio on satellite I guess.

Yeah, my money is on RB at 49. Especially after Rooney mentioned wanting to see the ground game improve and then Tomlin giving Conner the vote of no confidence. I think one or two of those five will drop to them and that's where they go.

Unless they catch a falling star. There's always a couple first round talents that fall and fall.

Your best talent to a HC is availability on game day. Not his fault, but Conner hasn't earned that he has has to know it.

I'm not a RB at 49 guy...imo Ben makes the running game better, no real need to invest the 1st pick of the draft on that position.

There are some kids in this draft that are better than Conner...at least from a durability standpoint. So...I get it...if they draft a RB I'm not bent out of shape, but I would prefer a OL, IOL to be specific.

At least the 1st round will finally get started tonight. I expected to be watching it for the 1st time in quite some time, but maybe not...I don't have the NFL network....if that's the only outlet, I won't see it.

Oh well.

***edited to note***...the draft will be on espn tonight in addition to NFLN

I think you can get a free trial of Sling and they are currently offering NFLN & ESPN for free due to the pandemic. Might be worth signing up and cancelling afterwards! You don't need to sign up with a credit card... Just email & zip is all it takes I believe.

Rich Eisen is hosting a free NFL Draft-A-Thon stream for charity... Covers the draft. It will be streamed on NFL Twitter, Facebook, Twitch, Reddit and Youtube.

Also... I wouldn't be surprised if ABC.com offered a free stream of it. If not on their site, then their app definitely will have it for free.

Watch the 2020 NFL Draft LIVE TONIGHT on ABC and the ABC app | ABC Updates

The "2020 NFL Draft on ABC" will air THURSDAY, APRIL 23 (8:00-11:30 p.m. EDT), and FRIDAY, APRIL 24 (7:00-11:30 p.m. EDT), live coast-to-coast on ABC. Be sure to watch on the ABC app from your smartphone and tablet (iOS and Android), computer on ABC.com and connected devices (Roku, AppleTV and Amazon Fire TV).

But I don't know if it will require a cable login of some sort... Haven't confirmed that

There better be a run on running backs in round 2 before the Steelers draft. :L

PFT has the Steelers taking Chase Claypole in the second. I hope not. I like his upside but hoping for something else.

In regards to OL They have Lloyd Cushenberry III and Josh Jones going before us. Everyone else would still be available.

I'm also a no on Claypool.

I'd be very happy with Cushenberry if he's there. Would also like Chinn, Winfield.

They might look at Mike Pittman Jr from USC with Reagor gone.

If WR is the pick I'm really hoping that Mims falls.

I like Winfield Jr. a lot.

Agreed! But if it’s going to be a RB at 49, it better be Taylor, Swift or Dobbins. Akers & Moss are reaches.

WR still very much in play. Mims, Shenault & Pittman are ideal. Higgins is meh.

Cush or Cleveland are on my wishlist for the Stiller pick. But theres still a lot in play. With so many reaches at CB & OT in the 1st there are quite a few 1st Rd talents that slid. It’s shaped up to be a fun evening for Colbert.

Not a single safety (excluding the hybrid Simmons) taken in the 1st!? That’s unreal!

Going to cheat with my “stake in the ground” and post some names I’d take at each position of need... positions ordered by preference

OL: Cushenberry, Jones, Niang or Cleveland

DT: Madubuike, Gallimore or Blacklock

S: McKinney, Winfield, Davis, Chinn, or Delpit (position has great value with none taken yesterday)

WR: Pittman, Shenault or Mims

RB: Swift, Taylor or Dobbins

ILB: Davis-Gaither

EDGE: Chaisson, Okwara or Baun

Pretty difficult to put the stake in the ground. But if push came to shove:

Lloyd Cushenberry C/G, LSU

There are a lot of skilled position guys on the board.

NFL draft best available second-round players: Top WRs, safeties wait

Colbert will be faced with the same thing we were...some OGs could fall into the 3rd round, but with no pick until the end of the 3rd...guys like Damien Lewis will likely be gone.

For me...Cush iii or Hennessy...one will likely be there at 49. Coaching up a 4th rounder...I'm not as comfortable with.

But...a ton of options...with so many good skilled position players...it would be enticing to try and push OL back to 102...I say I wouldn't do it, but it would depend on the board...if Delpit or Swift are there I could get weak....:D.

I'm hoping for Mims (WR from Baylor), Diggs (CB from Bama) or Fulton (CB from LSU)

Chaisson went to the Jags. But yeah, this is pretty much the list I would have.

I want to say that a guard would be available at the end of the third but Cush/Jones etc. would be tempting. Borderline first-round talents so they wouldn't be a reach over the RB and WR. Probably the smart but unsexy thing to do. The only thing I will say is I think this RB class drops off pretty good after that top 4-6. And Dobbins makes my PP go boing.

It's kind of cool that the got Fitz and the board still looks like this.
