how do u figure he had 66 or 67 catches, over 1k yards, and 7 td's playing notre dames schedule?
To be more clear, I question how much value he adds inside right now. He just lacks that wiggle to get open in the short to intermediate routes. But, being that Al Davis specimens, his upside is just... wow.

To a point I agree. Like I said, I don't dislike the pick at all. In fact, I do like it. So you guys should be worried because I'm TERRIBLE at this haha.

I figured you'd like the pick....I don't dislike the pick...he does bring size and long speed into the WR room. Not as fast as Martavious, a bigger, faster Juju is what I think. Will be a force in the secondary against some of these <200 lb CBs. If we wanted early production from 49...this might've been the best move they could make aside from RB.

Highsmith...idk...Face brought him up in the Hoop mock late...prior to that idk much about him either.

They left on the board...among others.

Muti...IOL, Fresno St
Hakeem Davis-Gaither, LB App St.
Amik Robertson, CB, La Tech

I wanted IOL at 49 so I'm in Colbert I Trust mode and just going with it...lol

No clue who Highsmith was either but when they showed him on the phone while the Pats were on the clock I started to try and figure out something about him.

All I could find that he is a pass rush specialist and was a combine freak. The latter usually means he won't be a good NFL player.

2020 All-Combine Team: Which NFL draft prospects owned Indy?

Claypool... Really wanted Mims over him, but I will default you Colbert’s WR drafting here. The man knows his receivers.

Highsmith... One of my favorite edge guys of this draft. Wanted him in the mock this year but he got sniped a few picks before us. Ranked top 3 in the FBS in sacks. High motor, high character guy. Wanted OL, but this kid could make an immediate impact on relief of the top 2 OLBs. He’ll need to add some weight to his frame though.

Highsmith... Yep, didn’t tout him to u guys because by the time I was going to propose his name he got taken. Great player and should be able to contribute.

124 & 135... Gotta go S & OL right? Maybe Brooks Jr, Reed or Wallace? John Simpson, Shane Lemieux, Kevin Dotson...

Biggest thing that worries me about Claypool is that he struggles to get separation... Just like the rest of this receiving corps, outside of maybe DJ.

I hope he turns out to be more than a workout warrior that only shows up in the gym.

Would love to see Damian Lewis from LSU at 124. Also, I think we can get another decent WR at 135. Gabriel Davis from UCF would be great. Speedster and was catching balls from guys who really couldn't throw the ball very well.

Does anyone see us taking a QB with 135? Just looking at Eason and Fromm still available. Is that something our FO entertains?

Not sure. Colbert & Tomlin already gave their vote of confidence in their QB room. But I could see them wanting to upgrade Duck. I’d rather see a 6th Rd pick if that were the case
