We need to lose our final three games in regulation and hope we slip to 9th, 10th or 11th in the draft lottery...Lol

Also, making big roster changes before this expansion draft is very much ill-advised, but it'll be game on afterwards. Go get Dougie Hamilton!!

Some great old time hockey in the Caps vs Rags last night.

Man i wish we could be a quarter as big and skilled as the Caps.

Well that went considerably worse.
Don’t care - won the season series. Will take anything at this point.

ready for off season and some house cleaning. I want Yeo gone more than any player - even JvR and that’s

Ghost suspended two games and loses 77K. Man it goes from bad to worse for him. I really feel bad for him as he had a really good offensive season for us.

I wouldn't want a Wilson type player, to much of a cheapshot artist. Good to see more teams start taking punishment for him into their own hands.

Looks like York is getting his shot tomorrow night. Recalled to the taxi squad, playing with Morin on the 3rd pair in practice.

Ya, I really can't argue with that. He's a unicorn in the league today. About as mean as they come, plus he's actually good at hockey too.

He's a POS, but he brings a lot to the table. I don't think we'd have to worry about the team being engaged night in and night out with someone like him on the roster. Boring/sluggish game? He'll cheap shot someone and get everyone's blood boiling.

Wilson reminds me of the dirtbags the league used to allow like the Avery's, Cooke, etc. I dislike Wilson like many of you do. It's sad that teams like the Caps keep these guys employed.

Matt Cooke sheds some good light here actually.
But yea, Wilson is a POS.

Often you wonder how Tom Wilson hasn't been banned from the league for life.

Could you imagine if we still had a player like Rinaldo and he did everything Wilson has just done recently to guys like Buchnevich and Panarin?

They'd suspend him for the remainder of this season and half of next season...Lol

Meanwhile, Wilson gets only a $5k fine.

I understand the guy can play hockey too, but nobody should be getting away with the shit he gets away with almost routinely.

He's good for ratings though. I'm sure that played into it. With a Rangers/Caps rematch on NBCSN as their next game, from that perspective the lack of suspension makes total sense.

He is still employed because hes a really good fast and skilled player who happens to be a crazed nut job. He plays top line and PP.

I wish we had a big forward that could hit fight and score.

AWAZ that kid Cole Caufield you liked in the draft a few years ago has come up for Montreal and looks like a real good offensive player

Not sure if Wilson is playing tonight, but if he is, dress 7 dmen and let Morin earn his stripes.

Ya, definitely a good start to his pro career. Really curious to see how he adjusts when the league adjusts to him. 5'7 165 is TINY haha.

Edit: I had forgotten the Flyers took York 1 pick ahead of Caufield.

Practice lines yesterday had Morin with York on the 3rd pair. So it sounds like he's in, even with 6 dmen. Ghost comes out due to his suspension.

Provorov-Braun
Sanheim-Myers
Morin-York

To start at least. AV hinted York would probably play with a few partners. Also PP2. Definitely excited to see what he's got.
