His shot is supposed to be his best asset. So we'll see if they try to get him in a better position to use it.

I watch the 1st period and decided to quit while ahead.

It never really got close. 4-0 lead through two off an Allison laser, then they were gifted some power plays in the 3rd and pulled to within two off of that alone. Farabee put them away for good just 3 minutes later with a power move to the net, Giroux a long distance empty netter and then Hagg a beautiful snipe late for good measure (yes, Hagg).

I remember seeing a lot of second efforts though that probably saved goals against. Lyon, Braun and Ghost come to mind on those. You wonder where the fuck that has been all season long too.

That said, almost everyone who we would've wanted to hit the back of the net did, minus probably Konecny. He's very much due for a few goals and instead had to settle for a couple of assists, but was all over the ice.

IDK, maybe one or two of the PT posters who were here in the seasons beginning who disappeared after they told us the defense was fine. Haven't seen a one of them since the losing started though.

What's crazy is that through 51 games, our largest margin of victory was only three goals and all six of those wins came in January or February.

Furthermore, it had been 34 games since we won by more than just a single goal. So, this 7-2 win, while meaningless in the standings, was easily our largest margin of victory on the entire season in game 52 of 56...Lol

It's as if this team just forgot how to let it all hang out and see where they stand. It was refreshing to see for a change, especially against the fucking Pens and on home ice.
