what years do you think picks in the teens had a higher success rate than the top 5 picks from the same draft?Yes i disagree
while I've seen him claim it's easier to find talent in the top 5 (which most objective person would think) I can't say I ever saw him say they are ONLY taken in the top 5.Point is stars are not only drafted in top 5 which been wiggy main sticking point....
If they give me a shot, I might, too.Hell, Brandon Ingram and Lonzo Ball have already had better careers than AB.

6-0, 185, 49 years old, white/Jewish, feathery soft jumper with limited dribbling/jumping skills? If I don't get a fair shot at the very least I have a lawsuit on my hands.Good luck.

my point has, is and always will be that the higher you draft the chances of finding a better player increase. Not necessarily.
and while I haven't been hear nearly as long as most, this is really all I've heard you say on the subject.my point has, is and always will be that the higher you draft the chances of finding a better player increase.
A couple years ago i did an analysis on this site that about 40% of top 5 picks go on to make at least 1 all star game game.
That percentage STEEPLY STEEPLY STEEPLY FALLS OFF A CLIFF as you keep going down the draft board.

Didn't need to sell me. Can't really understand why it's even debated.Basically-
So--- less than a 1% chance to get a high level all star outside the top 10.
Greater than a 20% chance of getting a high level all star inside the top 5.
sure it is, but more of a crapshoot outside the top 5.draft is a crapshoot either way...
but hey, good luck to the Cavs' "master plan"...
