Pretty sure he realizes not all top 5 picks pan out. Hopefully, you realize far more top 5 picks pan out than those in the teens. He has made it seem like that a lot. You can ask other posters and they'll confirm

Exactly so complaining about it now is lame if you ask me.
Most top free agents were gone day 1 or day 2 so basically complaining about Kawhi means you wanted him to make a decision by July 1st.
Not a big difference in July 2nd and July 5th in terms of type of players that were available.
At the end of day, don't chase him if you not expecting a several day wait.
Some of their combos are more expensive than hole in the wall Mexican joints here in SoCal.
I like those spots and the occasional Taco Bell or Taco Tuesday at Del Taco also.
Sometimes you're in a hurry.
I'm doing this off the top of my head but who been the best players selected since 2011 or 2012ish.
Most would probably say Giannis, Kawhi, & PG13. None were selected top 5
Or you have your grandsons with you. lol
Give me a hole in the wall Mexican joint any day of the week.
But yeah, if you're in a hurry or need something more "kid friendly", then Taco Bell is okay.
Add Klay as well. #11 in 2011
Not necessarily top 5 picks succeed at a rate higher than picks in the teens? Not necessarily.

Very familiar but not obsessed with him as it seems you are.You seriously aren't familiar with Wiggy or being obtuse today?

do you disagree top 5 picks are more likely to succeed than picks in the teens?
You get there are 5 such picks in the top 5 but 55 outside? Which group do you think has a higher success rate per pick?Im not just talking about picks in the teens. Im basically comparing top 5 picks to the rest of the draft because someone made it seem like the only top players in each draft are selected top 5.
Kemba, dame, & gobert are more examples since 2011 that top 5 picks doesn't mean much.
Off the top of my head, i think players drafted outside of the top 5 had more success since the 2011 draft. There been very few top 5 players with great success.
