@Superbelt I forgot about Ferrell he would be a good choice.
Cody Ford won't get past Atlanta but if they don't pick him he might fall to Pittsburgh.

As for CB it really is the default pick even with Haden/Nelson if they don't make a play for Bush. Even though an edge rusher would be a better pick, once again if they don't move up for Bush.

Marquise Brown I chose to remove all thoughts of him from my head but now that is he back if they take a WR/RB/TE in the first round it is a failure. ON that same measure lets hope they don't go all Full Dan Snyder mode and pick someone like DK Metcalf.

With at least 3 guys that could be on the board that they can sorely use in Bush, Murphy, and Baker, ...I don't expect them to trade up. I think Savage could sneak in there and be the guy, a lot of buzz about him, wouldn't shock me. Not a whole lot of people in the building getting the warm and fuzzy feeling about Sean Davis long term.

I'm going Bush as well at 20.

The guy I don't want to see them draft at 20...Montez Sweat...like the rush talent, but I don't feel he will be able to anchor the edge vs the run at his slight build in a 34 DEF. Reminds me a little of Vic Beasley (Falcons)...Could end up being a sub pkg player.

And if Burns is there at 14, they better get on the phones to try and move up for him.

I don't see him getting past Carolina at 16.

I think they could make a trade with Washington. Or whoever ends up with #15, after Dan Snyder fucks up their draft this year.

I think the hype on him has vaulted him into the top 10-12 picks, I agree, if he starts to slide they should be on the phone. My guess is if they do trade up, it will be to get ahead of CIN for Bush, or Savage in the 2nd round.

I could see ATL taking a OG, but most of the buzz down here is DT, or DE, maybe CB....I don't see Colbert taking an OL at 20.

CB...tend to agree. From the trio of Baker, Murphy or Williams I like Murphy the best, but Baker could turn out to be the better pro if he works on his trade. Williams could ultimately be the best cover guy, but may never be the most well rounded...run support and tackling is the hole in his game.

The shock pick that wouldn't shock me now is Darnell Savage.

I would hope not on the OL at 20 for the Steelers also.
ATL they seem to be stockpiling marginal talent on the d-line. I wonder if they will take the run at DB in the first and then the DT/DE in the 2nd since it is a deep draft.

Anyway back to the Steelers with Savage there are a lot of reports Washington wants him. Wonder if they will be shrewd and trade back to get Savage and extra picks....wait what I am thinking Snyder is taking over the 1st round no worries there.

I agree no to Rock Ya-Sin and even Greedy Williams who just doesn't want to tackle.

I'm guessing that Bush doesn't fall far enough for them to get him, and they do end up taking either Greedy or Rock.

ATL...Kinda. Tak McKinley and Grady Jarrett are legit. Vic Beasley imo is just too small to be a 43 DE, Senate is a run stopper and not much more....the rest are filler/depth guys. If I had to guess...I would say Ed Oliver is the #1 guy on their board. #2 Christian Wilkins...They have had visits with at least 2 or 3 DTs. They like this Isiah Oliver kid at CB, to take over for Alford, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did what you're thinking. I also wouldn't rule out TE for ATL.

PIT...Savage is definitely rising...supposedly he can drop into the slot, play FS, can play zone and man up...I guess my issue with Savage is how would they use him and Barron this season.

I don't expect them to move up for Bush, but I do expect them to move up in the 2nd round to secure Mack Wilson.

Barron is supporting cast at best. Someone like him shouldn't preclude the Steelers from finding someone better.

If they want to take Savage with a 1st, he'd be the future at FS, and really replacing Sean Davis.

Yeah, that's pretty much a given...Barron is on a two yr deal with a reasonable out after the '19 season so I agree his presence should not effect the draft choices.

That said, I'm still curious how they would use a dime safety with Barron in place for the '19 season. The word I'm hearing is Davis is not a lock for next yr and could actually be pretty slim...if he has a great season, he might price himself out via FA...if he has a so-so season, the Steelers will be looking for another FS.

This is why I think Savage is a real option at 20...or moving up in the second round.

Montez Sweat's heart condition was misdiagnosed.

Puts him back in consideration at 20? And if he goes higher, maybe even bumping a LB lower to the Steelers (Burns :lou:).

My hope is that they go after Bush if he falls, sending Burns further down.

Disney Cross-Promoting their new movie having Ian with Dumbo in this clip.

Sounding like Sweat might have gotten Marino'ed.

Lots of moving up talk out there. If they want a Devin, they probably need to get before Denver at 10, I'm guessing.

Steelers could be looking to move up into top 10

The Steelers have a serious need for help at linebacker.

All the best ones are expected to be gone by the time they pick 20th overall, so they may be trying to move up.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reported that the Steelers have made calls about the possibility of trading into the top 10.

If they made such a move, it could be for one of the Devins, either LSU’s Devin White or Michigan’s Devin Bush. Being able to land either would help fill the void left by Ryan Shazier, the kind of athletic presence inside they’ve missed.

Whether they’re able to remains to be seen, but the interest underscores the need.

My apologies for including the stupid clapping photo in the above. Tomlin had probably just made a challenge that he "just knew" he was going to win.

Really hope this means they have a realistic shot at drafting Devin White. Moving into top 10 for Bush is a mistake. Getting him at 15-20 is better value.
