BTW...that was probably the best scenario for tonight.
not bad at all to move up all those spots, i love it2nd this year and a 3rd next year on top of the 1st round swap

Best part is they will still have a 3rd rd pick in compensation for Lev Bell.2nd this year and a 3rd next year on top of the 1st round swap
I’m happy with it considering all they gave up was a 2nd. And as SP said, getting a top 10 pick & only giving that up is huge.I'm good with it. I know Face and Atl weren't thrilled with that prospect, but better than some third round corner (i.e. Burns) in my book.
i was just about to bring this up. spot on my man...........i love bush, in more than one way nowThe last player we traded this many slots up to get(and biggest move ever up 11) 27 to number 16(a smaller jump in terms of value) but it was this guy:

It's not what I wanted to see happen, at all. But it is what it is. I hope Mr. Bush succeeds, and proves I'm wrong that he wasn't worth a trade-up like that.
Don't go to sleep tonight because they have no 2nd rounder.
Wouldn't be entirely surprised to see them trade up into R2 (with their high 3 from Oak) for a DB.
If Tomlin is really in love with Ya-Sin...
That.. or maybe Adderly, Julian Love, Murphy is still there too. Even Winovich. They have so many picks, and still have ammo to burn.
Yeah, the trade certainly didn't conform to the value chart.I kinda felt the same way initially...my thinking was not so much that Bush wasn't worth it...I thought the price would be too high for a LB...but the picks surrendered were considerably less than what I was thinking.
I'm a lot more on board with the pick now than I was yesterday.
This worries me. A lot.
Because I like it. And I don't know if you guys all remember or not but... I'm kinda terrible at this. I didn't have White above Bush. I thought they were a pick-em. 1A and 1B. At least regardless of scheme fit that's how I had them ranked. The drop off was pretty considerable after Bush/White too.
The second this year and third next year is a high price but we can get another backup QB project and/or undersized gadget player as UDFA to make up for it.
I really like the move. I liked it at first glance and I like it even more now.LOL...one of the bolder moves the Steelers have ever pulled off imo.
I thought White was maybe a notch above Bush, but not enough to be a 5th overall pick. But...teams typically try to balance the best talent with a need these days
