How much do you think Balmer gave him ?

I'm thinking about $10M / year.

I'm bummed about this but his work here was done, the Clippers need some of what he has, I'm happy for 'em.

But ... from Jerry's book ... he clearly states he was disappointed he wasn't with the Lakers during the Kobe/Shaq feud. He thinks he could have helped and kept that team together.

In some cases (like the Bulls & Jerry Krause) -- it is often as difficult to keep the team together as it is to build it after they have success.

Player Comparison Finder: Allen Iverson vs. Kyrie Irving | Basketball-Reference.com

The numbers are closer than you might think with Irving having advantages in TS% and WS/48.
But, Iverson never had LeBron.

Impossible to quantify.
AI/Sixers fans go for AI.
Irving/Cavs fans go for Irving.
Everyone else might say it's a wash so far (Irving has played roughly 500 games less than Iverson).

I really think LeBron would love to finish out his career in LA (where he lives during the off-season) and maybe with some of his buddies (Melo, CP3, etc).

How soon he actually starts looking to do that probably depends on how this year goes for the Cavs.

I may actually root for him if he goes to the Clippers. Would love to see that team win a title.

Until it's time for Embiid and Simmons to extend their contract, and then they're screwed!

At that point it's up to Philly's management to determine how far they want to go into the luxury tax. If they were to somehow (not happening in reality) sign CP3, Hayward and Blake then they could sign Embiid and Simmons because of owning their bird rights. Given the amount of tanking the 76ers have done in the last decade, they would show their ass for not paying into the luxury.

Congrats @Mecca !

First big win of the off-season for the Clips. Hopefully Jerry can help you guys sort out who goes and who stays.

I appreciate that all the non Warrior fans have is to try to troll us about this stuff, but it ain't gonna work LOL

The fact is we are in the middle of an era that will be looked back on as the Warriors era. Just like the 90s were the Bulls era. Good or bad that's where we are.

I'm not trolling, just stating my opinion. Warriors were right to sign him, teams should always look to improve. All I'm saying is that I can't imagine Durant leaving now, but I've been wrong about him before.

That's not going to fly with the Lakers. CP3 is a free agent NOW and Melo is a shell of his former self already. I've heard talk about Wade as well, but he doesn't have much left either. Lakers didn't build up all these assets to become a retirement home for declining stars.

KD went to the Warriors with the purpose of winning multiple titles, not just one. He's not going anywhere.

I can't imagine Indiana wanting Love. Can a 3rd team be found? Is Lebron willing to play the 4 (we already know PG isn't)?

They'd probably move George to the 3 and Lebron at the 4. Unless they move JR to the bench. But $15 mil coming off the bench would be rough. Also, not many teams are going to trade for JR and that contract.
