They signed Korver.
Not sure what else they really could have done to improve unless some FA would have signed for a minimum or the Carmelo buyout, etc..

They re-signed Korver, signed Cedi Osman (6'8 shooter) and signed Jeff Green. 2-4 depth has been solidified. It's about all that could be expected without trading a big piece like Kyrie or Love. They were reportedly very close to getting Paul George, but the deal fell through late when the Pacers chose the Thunder deal instead.

Rumors also say they were close to getting Butler right when Griffin was let go.

Griffin was terrific at getting assets with little to work with. I think he is person who's reputation will help him get the next opportunity. To be honest -- not all his moves were great (Mozgov, draft picks) ... and he didn't bring in young assets like the Ws are doing even though their hands are tied also.

It is hard to know if Cavs should have pulled the trigger on George or Butler without knowing more details. (especially since George could have been 1 and done) Butler is a good guy -- a hard worker. (and sounded great in 2 podcasts the last year)

@Heatles84 , @TurnUpTheHeat , @bksballer89 .....am I going to be happy with Willie Reed?

If he can mitigate some of the defensive lapses by guys in the 2nd unit like Lou Williams, Dekker, Wesley Johnson....and by lapses I mean flat out refusal to stay in front of their men.....I will be happy.

We are really gonna need another defensive big because Teodosic is gonna cause Deandre Jordan to get in foul trouble every game.

Ps. What is the status of my multi-fandom application?

I'm ready to change my Team choices.

Just be a Heat fan.

In all seriousness, I like Willie Reed. But he's simply a quality backup center for the price tag that he has. Not a bad contract, but not someone that inches the Clippers close to the Dubs, Spurs, Thunder and probably not even the T-Wolves.
