So that would make him a restricted FA then if the Warriors give him the QO, which I'm 95% certain they will at this point. The Warriors I believe would be able to match.
The old man runs his mouth, sadly, the kid will pay the price.
Mid 30ish if Randle can take a step.I see the Lakers between 25-29 wins unless they make a few more moves tbh

I think he can.guess that means the kid's definitely gonna have to prove he can take it...

Brook gets buckets.
But, everyone else needs to elevate their play too.
lol @the author predicting the Lakers going 45-37 this year. Unless they pull off some big trade, 41 wins is their absolute ceiling and probably more like 35.
It was.I also read that Swaggy's defense was much better last year under Walton. Can you confirm?
I think Swaggy fits the Warriors because Ron Adams has been getting guys like Ian Clark and Leandro Barbosa to be servicable defensive players. If Swaggy can become a halfway decent defender, at 6'7, that's going to be huge in the Warriors being able to continue their defensive strategies and switching everything.
The biggest thing to me about the two signings is the Warriors got their bench depth and shooters, being 6'7 and 6'9" respectively. Lots of flexibility with lineups.
I disagree. That's literally zero improvement. The young guys will benefit from the experience of last season and having had a full year in Luke's system. Also, Lopez is a big improvement over Mozgov. That alone should get them to 30 wins.

26 to 29 wins is an improvement though.
You might be right.I just don't see any improvement in their defense. Ball is not known for his defense and neither is Lopez. I think a lot needs to go right (with the current roster) for them to win 30+IMO. Also think a guy like Ingram needs to make a big jump from where he was last year. I believe they finished last in DEF EFF. Need to be top 20 at least if they want to win 30+ games

The West is gonna be brutal.
Maybe getting a Tony Allen type, on a 1 yr deal, might help a bit in the backcourt.
If Lopez can stay healthy, he's going to thrive in Walton's system. The biggest thing for me will be if Ingram and Randle can take that next step. I think Lonzo will have a really strong rookie year. Clarkson is what he is.
The fact that Teams like Denver, Minny and Sacto got better and the Clippers, Utah got worse, makes it tough to evaluate until we see how guys fit together on the court.I disagree. Agree. I do agree with @bksballer89 that the defense needs to improve. Randle has improved every season, so that trend should continue, especially if the work I've heard about him putting in the off-season is real. Apparently, Ingram has been spending most of the off-season working as well.
If Lonzo has a solid rookie year, the Lakers should be able to break 30 wins (which I think is necessary to truly attract top FA's). I like Clarkson, I think he has a good future as a Lou Williams type.
