Where's the other 2 times?
And what?

Go back and read your posts. There are only 215 pages on this thread. This was not the first time you used that exact phrase.

I'm yanking your chain.......I know you're referring to Rondo getting hurt in the playoffs, but the way you word your replies, it can be read that the Celtics need to keep him healthy to be successful.

I think Danny Boy should hire Isiah zeke Thomas as the Cavs next GM. And since Phil Jackson did such a great job w/ the Brickabockers roster I'm sure he could help the Cavs out somehow. Finally they need to fire Lue & replace him w/ David Blatt.

I agree DJ.
I'm trying to understand why BOS fans keep referring to LAL 2018 as a top-5 pick....

It could easily be.

The Lakers are a Brook Lopez injury away from being a 25 win team. That could easily be a top 5 pick. They could also play better than expected and win 35-40 if Lonzo is as good as advertised and Ingram takes steps.

Hell, the Lakers could win 38-40 games and be a team that is playing spoiler at the end of the season. If things go just right.
I don't see it, frankly. The NBA is a man's league... and the Lakers would need to rely on a lot of really young guys to get to that "just right" zone.

You are the one who said they went all in. Not me.

They had the cap space to pay Millsap or Lowry. Instead, they opted to go with two role players in Teague and Gibson. Their reason for not paying Millsap was that they did not want to commit to him long term, because they will need to pay their young guys soon. In other words, they exercised restraint. They did not go all in. Wiggins and Towns are still on rookie deals.

I agree with this. You can say that Minnesota is playing it smart and starting to commit to making its way to a viable playoff team transitioning to contender down the road. But all in is not what I would describe here.

Heat could quickly become their biggest threat.
If they land Hayward, maybe. If not we'll just have to wait and see if they start the way they finished or start the way they started.

I still think the Wiz are better.

Maybe the Celts would have regrouped.
The I.T. issue didnt help.
Regardless, Celts were at 100% vs Cavs and it was a joke.

And, I think they made the right decision. Their window isn't open yet. They simply need to do enough to convince Butler to resign in 2 years. Then, they go all in.

The fuck are you talking about? We're talking about Rondo when he was on the Bulls last year and that once he went down, the Bulls offense went to shit. Rondo hasn't played on the Celtics for years now.

That's a perfect case scenario. Probably more likely to win 33-35 games and we just acquired a center who averaged a career high 24ppg and a PG in Ball.

And people love to say Lopez is hurt all the time. That's when he first came into the league. He's played in 75, 73, and 72 games the last 3 seasons.

Oh, I get that... it's just tough to squeeze "perfect case scenarios" out of youngsters in a man's NBA.

Lakers definitely look more hopeful for the future, don't get me wrong... but in terms of next season, they are down Russell and up Lopez... closer to a push than anything else (IMO). Ball and Ingram are too young (and in need of NBA strength programs) to expect big things out of. IMO, of course.

You're right. Celtics had no rebounding at all and yet they were competitive. If Ainge doesn't get some inside help, I think the C's take a step backwards. I'm really looking forward to their rookies playing in the summer league tomorrow night. Especially the two Europeans. First game is at 7 PM EST against the 76ers and Markelle Fultz.

No. We're going to see it on the Celtics local TV network CSNNE. CSN covers the C's during the regular season at home and any road game that isn't picked up nationally.
