Hopefully by some time tomorrow Hayward at least lets Riley know if he prefers Heat over Celts or not.

He still has a meeting with the Jazz tomorrow. If we're lucky, maybe late tomorrow night we get an answer but 4th of July is more likely IMO

you think everyone is a bad fit for OKC. They obviously need more players who can create their own offense instead of depending on Russ for everything so I don't see how this is a bad fit. Some of the load is off westbrook if you're able to add Gay.

Actually, no....if they got somebody who bought into the team comcept.....I'd agree it's a good fit.

Gay is a chucker and when RW and Gay are on the court it's going to be real awkward.

That squad only had Al Jefferson (he was the only really good player).....even with the Curry pick they still would have sucked for another 2-3 seasons before they showed signs of drastic improvement.

Curry overs those others likely improves win totals thus decreasing their lottery odds. What @tlance is saying is that the Wolves aren't getting KAT with the number 1 pick because they'd likely have a lottery pick. Also, Golden St. has the roster it has now because they hit on consecutive draft picks (really helped they landed Draymond in the 2nd round) over a few years. Think what happened to OKC getting Durant, then Westbrook and Harden along with getting a quality player in Ibaka.

His role would be much different if he went to OKC. I'm almost certain they would use him as a 6th man. Much easier to be a ball stopper when you're option 1 or 2 on a team and not option 3 or 4. OKC won't be running their offense through Gay at all.

I know he still has Utah, but he should know before then if he prefers Boston or Miami.
Hopefully he lets those 2 teams whose been illiminated.
