I don't think Bosa will be there, but I take Bosa no matter who else is on our team. He is the very clear cut #1 pick to me unless you absolutely love one of the QBs.

Granted, I'm basing this on having seen the kid play maybe 3 or 4 times.

Bosa might be the best talent in the draft, but this reminds me a lot of the Clowney draft...not comparing the players, but the team with #1 overall plays a 3-4 DEF scheme and the player best fits a 4-3.

Looking at Bosa as a player...I don't see dominant at this level.

We shall see.

If I were CLE...I'd trade down with DAL.

Out of curiosity who do you think Dallas targets? I don't see any way Dallas parts with another quality pick to move up a couple of spots in this draft.

Honestly I don't see a true number 1 , unless it is Bosa or the OT, which I don't really want.

I would much rather move down in this draft...

Kiper's latest has Dallas taking DeForest Buckner, DE, Oregon with the 4th overall selection and Ramsey going 5

He said that assuming Hardy is gone. This kid I'd big and fast

Who knows what could have happened, but if there were a penalty we would likely have known and Garrett did address it and from what I read Hardy was respectful, but then Just didn't listen at all or change at all. It just doesn't pass the smell test that Garret had no say whatsoever in the matter. He is the head coach of an NFL Football team and not in his first year. Weren't you the guys saying Jerry wasn't even GM any more and in fact Stephen was (personally I don't agree at all that Jerry gave up that oower)? So now he's even more involved than in the past? I just don't see it myself. But Jerry will be Jerry I guess...

I still say Jerry gave up at least some of the GM powers. Sure he is still the owner who writes the checks so he can pull the strings, but he doesn't appear to have control of all the personell moves. This hardy signing screamed JERRY though, so maybe it failing will remind him to go away.

Boy...good question.

I'm really a SUN football guy with a smattering of SAT football during the season and focus a bit more around bowl time into the combine. I wouldn't blame them if they cut ties with Hardy...aside from Bosa who could slide to 4 I don't know of another top 5 DE prospect yet.

Most people think CLE will go QB...TN the OT from Ole Mis...SD...they are the wild card...I'm hearing CB but who knows.

If Bosa is gone...DAL can probably drop down to a few slots and target the CLEM DE...Lawson. The LB Jack may make sense and Ragland is a player.

Just what we need another linjured linebacker. Miles jack at 4 would not make sense

Rb should not be the first two picks IMO.

Agree about RB in the 1st, but it depends on who's there in the 2nd. Of one of the top two somehow are there in the 2nd. I'm good with a RB there.

if we don't address Romo's future replacement and a quality RB in the early rounds this team will suck again

I don't know about second either. We have too many needs on defense and if one of the top QB's is there., I would grab one in the second.

Maybe for 2016, but If we just pick QB and RB in the first two rounds regardless of whether the players are worthy of the picks we will be destined for failure for years to come. That's just not how you build a good team. You pick from amongst the best players that are available when you are on the clock, you don't just plug holes in order of biggest need without at least making sure the guy you get is worth it. Think about what you are saying. We have the #4 overall pick in the draft. Do you think there is a RB worthy of that pick? So if no, now what if the team doesn't like any of the "top" QBs? You want them to draft a QB they don't like or a RB they don't think is worthy? How is that going to make us better in 2016 or going forward? It just doesn't make sense to me. Now if they love Goff or someone else, sure, I'm all for it but you can't just go into it with tunnel vision when this team has many areas that we can improve - yes QB and RB, but also CB, S, DL, LB depth. We aren't a backup QB away from a SB and we had the #4 rusher in the entire NFL last year and a scat back that IF HEALTHY could be a dangerous playmaker.

Anyway, as crappy as this season was if we held on to some of those 4th qtr collapses that our defense had we would have been in the thick of the playoff picture going into week 17 and probably never would have even seen Moore on the field. So I think based on last year the case you can make for needing defense may be even bigger

As much as you and I discuss BPA and Need, I see us meaning the same just worded differently. Now I lead more to the need side of the pendulum while you lean to the BPA but we're both near center.
