Very crazy. He's a #3 at best unless you're a bad team with very poor WRs
Ah ok. I figured he might be okay as a number 2. He had very average numbers last year and there was def a drop off but...not a lot of depth at WR on some teams.

Imo, Colston has looked physically beat up over the last two-three years. He was a better than average route runner, ealry on, who could climb the ladder to highpoint 50/50 balls and win. His hands have become somewhat suspect as well as his previous ability to use his body to blockout DB's. I don't see his previous ability to come out of his breaks and gain seperation (he was never an explosive or high/quick burst) which does limit his use.

I would honestly see him more in the range of #3 at best at this point and quite possibly even leaning to #4. jmho

What are the thoughts from any of you regarding Bills OT Cordy Glenn as a mainstay at LT whether he remains in Buffalo or elsewhere.

When watching him at Georgia and even early on in his first 2 NFL years, he seemed better suited as a RT? He was a waist bender with average footwork and had trouble with speed rushers or the ability to reset, redirect, sink his hips.

I haven't paid much attention to him this past year.

I thought Glenn was a rockstar RT prospect coming out of college but he has been an above average LT from pretty much day 1 in the NFL. If the Bills let him go then they are really not too bright. Probably best suited for a run-first team.

If the Bills let him go, it will be due to being outbid. They spent a ton last offseason and could be forced into some uncomfortable decisions this year. Ideally, they keep Glenn and draft another tackle to play RT with the potential to back up Glenn at LT if needed.

Glenn is a big reason Mario may get cut.

"According to the New York Daily News, free agent RE Muhammed Wilkerson is "all but guaranteed" to get the Jets' franchise tag, and will "likely" be shopped in a "tag-and-trade" deal before April's draft.

"We have an idea internally what we're probably or potentially going to do," GM Mike Maccagnan said. "But at this point in time, we don't really want show our cards." The deadline for NFL teams to tag free agents is next Tuesday, March 1. Wilkerson's tag will cost $15-$16 million, but any team that wants to acquire him via trade would certainly prefer to work out a long-term deal first. The Jets should be able to get a first-round pick for Wilkerson, who is only 26 and has finished as a top-five 3-4 defensive end at Pro Football Focus in back-to-back seasons." - Rotoworld

Apparently there needs to be a salary floor; the Jags carried over $32.7M?

There is...Every team over a 4-year period has to spend at least 89% of the cap space during that period. It is why the Raiders and Jaguars will be huge spenders this off season because they are actually pretty far below where they should be. If they do not reach the 89% floor there are some huge fines that are more than what they would have spent in FA from what I understand so it is in the team's best interest to spend the money.

If the rules allow a team to carry over that much, they need to be more strict IMO.

Rams to tag either Jenkins or Tru Johnson (more likely Tru).

Bills likely to tag Glenn.

Walterfootball is saying all of the following:

2/27: The Rams want to re-sign center Tim Barnes. - Nick Wagoner, ESPN

2/27: The Rams are leaning toward franchising Trumaine Johnson. - Ian Rapoport, NFL Network

2/25: The Rams want to retain Rodger Saffold. - Nick Wagoner, ESPN

2/25: GM Les Snead said that "priority A" is re-signing Trumaine Johnson and Janoris Jenkins. -

2/24: Jeff Fisher said that re-signing Mark Barron is a "priority." -

2/20: The Rams aren't expected to re-sign Nick Fairley. - Nick Wagoner, ESPN

2/20: It sounds like the Rams will place the transition tag on Trumaine Johnson. - Jim Thomas, St. Louis Post-Dispatch

The Barnes thing is a little surprising but the Saffold bit is just stupid. Guy is more injury prone than Bradford.

Another rumor floating around is that Justin Smith wants to come out of retirement but doesn't want to play for the Niners. Probably not going to happen but lol @ the Niners

"Jason Cole reports free agent CB Janoris Jenkins recently rejected a five-year, $45 million offer from the Rams.

Jenkins has since fired his agent and is switching to the same representation that negotiated Darrelle Revis' contract. By rule, Jenkins isn't allowed to hire an agent within five days of canning his previous one, so the Rams are now going to be up against the wall and will probably have to compete with other teams for Jenkins. The $9 million annually the Rams offered Jenkins would have made him one of the 13 highest-paid corners in annual average, but, of course, we have no idea what the guaranteed money was in the Rams' offer. Jenkins is coming off easily his best season and is probably seeking upwards of $10 million per year."
