based on the article, Spielman was getting more reps, so were older walk-ons. basically sounds like the kid couldn't cut the competition. it doesn't bother me if that's the case.

homesickness though too. i've never quite got the idea of homesickness probably because I was a nobody, but if I was the big dog at a school and then all the sudden went somewhere without any of the entourage that i had making me feel good about myself then yea that would be tough to take.

Some guys can't hack it, these guys are given the royal princess treatment during their whole Sr yr but there is a tear down process called Freshman Year, every college kid in the country goes through it, free sports scholarship or not. This isn't a Tyler Moore situation, he wasn't going to start this year and would've been a RS so... On to the house with ya is what he chose instead, his choice, I can't relate to it and I won't slam him either, I'll just leave it implied
