Cory Whitaker is out for two weeks, had a knee scope, with Foster out it starts to get thin for the interior line real quick

the graph at the bottom of this link (2016 Big Ten Expert Picks: Overrated, underrated, predicted order of finish) of how writers at CBS ranked the West is in a nutshell how people are thinking of Nebraska right now.

literally anywhere from #1 in West to #5. No other team on that list is any where close to that different. I guess Northwestern is the same too. But seriously most all other teams are like 1 off from their average.

To be honest, there are days when I feel the same way about the team. I think that there are a lot of weapons on offense that could actually win the West easily. Then I think about the sever lack of experience on the DL and realize that, in the run heavy B1G, it could very well be a long and frustrating season.

I just can't recall the last time I felt this way about an upcoming season. Oh well, we will start to know in about 12 days.

Darlington is our #3 "emergency" QB. In other words, we won't burn his RS if Tommy gets dinged and Barney, I mean, Ryker can't find his helmet.

Also, Lightbourn will be our punter.

I'm indifferent about the practice reports, the previous years we got fed the koolaid and literally saw the exact opposite once the season began. No koolaid pitcher this time around which is on par with where I see us this year anyway and maybe that will help motivate the team some. I'd like to be surprised insofar as winning or solid play vs the half hearted camel dick they came in with last year

Well then

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Derrion Grim was one of my sleeper picks for Nebraska.

Crap crap crap crap crap crap crap crap crap crap crap

From the reading, the run defense is severely lacking. Tommy Armstrong is running wild on the defensive team.

Royce Freeman is looking forward to this. As is that QB from Northwestern and probably the Purdue QB Blough.
