I've always wondered if a team comprised of skilled assholes would work. Could a team that rolled out 4 lines of 15-20 goal scoring antagonists succeed?

I think the Avs go heavily after defensemen this season too. Depending on who they get they might make the playoffs next year.

Well... if all 12 forwards averaged 18 goals a year that would be 216 goals. Add in an average of 7 per D-man and you get 258 goals. That would have been good for 3rd best in the league last year.

So if these guys could defend they'd probably be pretty good. Unless of course they came against the 2007-2008 Oilers. Then they'd get sent packing down route 410.
