I find this highly amusing. Good on ya, Wiz.

Take it with a grain of salt, twatwaffle does make shit up.

But it does sound like something Wiz would do. He really likes it here.

I think it's awesome (although it probably rules out the Pens). Hopefully GMs start realizing it's not worth handing out all these NTCs.

Hey now...the Pens don't have cap space.

So, Jags wants out. Please send him West. Or to the Pens. But not any other Metro teams. PLEASE.

Well, he signed with the fucking Devils. Did he think he was bound for June hockey in Newark this year?

I hope they option him to the AHL now.

I mean, knowing his history I shouldn't give him a break, but he's 43. But you're right in that he chose NJD for money and just hoped he'd be moved when the playoffs came along.

me thinks signing in New jersey was about money but more so NJ was one of the few teams that would give him ANY money

maybe Im cynical (maybe?) but at this stage i feel he is all about getting moved to a more offensive team so he can move up the career goals scored list ... playoffs would be gravy for him

I think the guy just truly loves playing hockey (and money of course) and the idea of him losing an opportunity to play bugs him. Seriously don't think the man is ever retiring. Even if he does want it to pad stats, oh well...at least he's motivated.

And he may be a shell of what we was, but the guy is still 3rd on the team in scoring at 43. Admittedly, they're a bad team this year, but it still demonstrates that he can provide value to a team.

Seriously, how did Curtis freakin' Glencross get a NTC?

iirc at the time they extended him, it was looked at as a "hometown discount" ... so ... you gotta give to get

also Jay Feaster was flames gm at the time and the flames had a "tradition" in the 2000's of giving ntcs/nmcs out like Oprah gave out aromatic lotions to her viewers

Mike Gillis caught that disease too
