Anyway losing Sill means nothing since he is a borderline NHL player but I am surprised the value of pick they gave up.

Something I thought about: gotta think that the Pens potentially look to move Martin/Ehrhoff's rights in the early offseason for picks. May not be high picks, but could get a few out of those guys. At the very least Martin.

Keep Kadri. Literally one of maybe three guys on the current roster I'd be upset to see leave.

Think Colton Orr...but doesn't fight as much. Seriously, he's the bane of most Pens fans when he's in the lineup.

He was only thrown in for salary purposes anyway (Leafs also kept half of Winnik's remaining salary) and he's UFA after the season.

Like BG said, though, good for some extra armor in the tank.

For Martin, I'd be shocked if they don't get something back. Only potential issue is that he seems set on testing the market. Both of them though are highly sought after players in that they're puck moving Dmen. Like crack in the NHL.

No doubt he's not at all part of the future. I did laugh when some reporters said he was a "prospect".

if the canucks end up trading Shawn Matthias for a similar package that the leafs got for Winnik ... and then go and trade away a 3rd rounder for a rental/impending ufa player ... Im heading over to my parents place and doing this to the rear projection tv in their basement!!!
