I know I'm not the first to mention this, but it still amazes me how little cred the Spurs are getting for the only slightly less historic than the Warriors season they are having. If the Warriors weren't a thing everyone would be talking about them nonstop. On pace to have their best regular season ever, etc. They are really really good and will be barely an underdog vs the Warriors in the playoffs.
Well they're just proof that nobody remembers 2nd place. :nono:

The Warriors are getting all the attention over the Spurs because of 3 things:

1) Steph Curry.
2) Style of play is more fun to watch.
3) The Warriors in general are a very polarizing team.

For as great as the Spurs are playing, it's more expected of them than not. The Warriors came out of nowhere last year after decades of sucking and started the year with many detractors. The Spurs have been a great organization and have the track record of success. That's why their success isn't so surprising.

All 3 reasons on point IMO.

The Clippers are firing on all cylinders. Clippers up 20 and with 53 points with 7+ minutes to go in the half

And I thought the Kings being down 21 at half at home was bad....oh wait it still is.
