That and a couple of bad loses.

They blew a hell of a lead against the Clippers and Curry stuck a needle in their eye the day after that.
 @ Curry stuck a needle in their eye the day after that.

Celtics pulling away from the Grizzles but I feel like more people need to be talking about Dave Joerger. He's done a fantastic coaching job with that random grab bag of players. Gasol is out for the year, Z-bo has missed significant time, Conley has been banged up some this year, they traded away a solid player in Courtney Lee, they added Lance Stephenson, yet they didn't slow at all. Of course they aren't going to win the championship, but that's some hard coaching to not slip at all given the circumstances

My COY right now:

1) Steve Kerr (if they break the record, no way he doesn't win)
2) Brad Stevens
3) Terry Stotts
4) Dave Joerger
5) Obligatory Pop *still best coach in the NBA*

Man, sounds like Chalmers is done with a ruptured achilles now.

Haven't seen much of the Grizzlies... but I'm guessing that would kill off any hope they had of making noise in the playoffs?

Pretty amazing that I agree with Joerger being on this list, but the first few weeks into the season he was notably on the hot seat. It's pretty awesome what he's been able to do with a make shift lineup this year.

They have a 9 game cushion on Utah so they'll likely make the playoffs but it's certainly another blow to them making noise in them.

LAKERS vs. Cavs tonight !!!

I'd take the Lakers (+9.5) and the over (110).

Will be interesting to watch Lakers' defense (especially on Kyrie) ... and if Russell/Randle continue to step up.

Kobe is 50/50. I think I'd rather see how the Lakers could do without him. (would hate it if he plays & guns just to try to match Lebron)

Kings suspend Cousins for 1 game for "conduct detrimental to the team".

Unless the NBA lets them switch to the East for the playoffs and they get to play the Cavs. :heh:

It definitely didn't look good during the game. He was backpeddling at a half jogging pace and you could tell it likely popped because he went down immediately. They're gonna have to start signing guys out of the stands to fill their roster at this point.
