LOL, sure they do.

They do have a better chance.

30% is better than 20....lol

The Clippers choked away that first game they played against each other.

They are usually in it until they get a hairball stuck in their throats the last 5 minutes.

You hit the nail on the head. Better chance does not=series win.

If I said the Blazers have a better chance to beat GSW than Utah does. That could easily mean I think Utah has a 3% chance while Portland has a 5% chance.

Yep.

You didn't say they would win, just that they stood a better chance.

....and You are correct.

I wonder why all of their losses so far this season have come against younger teams who are outside of the upper echelon of NBA teams. I've read opinions that the Warriors meet their match when they're faced with younger teams who have the athleticism to run with them.
I think it has more to do with the Warriors being more relaxed and less of an effort. And that's not a knock on any of those teams. It was the same when the Lakers were the champs & typically would play down to the level of their competition. I think it's common.

I guess I could split that hair a third way then and say that neither of them have a better chance than the Spurs. :heh:

Yeah, it's a very long season. As much as we like to say that with the money they are being paid, they should be giving maximum effort every single night, they are still human. Losing to the occasional team that isn't any kind of a threat is no big deal as long as they continue beating the teams that are.

For the young guys on the Lakers, it was a playoff game. For the Warriors, it was game 61 on a Sunday afternoon.

THIS^^^
It undoubtedly raised the confidence level of the youngsters. Clarkson is probably floating on cloud 9 because of the performance he put on...against the champs. And it probably is coming at a good time-considering the end of the season is nearing and Kobe won't be around to help on the court anymore. I always like to see hard work rewarded.

Was everyone asleep for the finish to the Warriors Magic game? Actually had a pretty entertaining ending.

The play at the end when the Warriors were up 2 & Klay somehow scooped the near turnover off the floor and threw up an off-balance 3 that went in... that was such a Warriors way to put the game a way. Just like the one Draymond had a few games ago.

Yeah I saw the Warriors up 13 at half and called it a night.
