Price is right: Mariners must step up and trade for Tampa ace | FOX Sports on MSN
Another article regarding David Price. Suggests a package of Walker, Franklin and Peterson could get it done
that's a steep price. I'm normally all in trading prospects for proven MLB talent, but Walker and Peterson for a rent-a-pitcher. I dunno.
The rays should be desperate to get ANYTHING for Price since he is hitting free agency. Why do I get the feeling that the Mariners are going to be too desperate to win this year when they should be putting pieces in place for the next 3 years?
It makes no sense to trade Walker and Peterson.....NONE.

Walker is another shoulder issue away from being the next Ryan Anderson. He is 21 with shoulder problems, that is not a good situation at all for a pitcher. Odds of him ever being another Felix are about 5% at best. If you can deal him for a proven MLB vet, then you do it. Don't let bad trades of the past scare you off from doing what needs to be done. Paxton and his injury problems aren't that far behind and you sure can't have two of them as your 'future'.
You do realize that shoulder issues plague most pitchers throughout their career. Right shoulder impingement is not a very serious issue and shouldnt be a chronic thing.....
If you want to know the truth....EVERY pitcher is one shoulder issue away from being shit....You don't trade your #1 prospect for a guy that will pitch for 2 months for you then leave.....probably right back to Tampa.
Marlon Byrd doesn't want to come here either. Accorrding to a reccent post on MLBTR, Seattle is one of only four teams on Byrd's no-trade list. LOL.
Why has there not been any contract discussions with Kyle Seager? Because he can't wait to get the fuck out of here. Three more years and then we get to watch him sign a 6 years/$130 million deal with the Angels.
He had better mechaniccs a year ago. Good mechanics = reduced risk. Bad mechanics = increased risk.
Dude has good mechanics (it's why he is a top prospect) and is fine...he just needs some innings.
Damn pessimists on this site would have us firesell the entire team for fucking Giancarlo Stanton and David Price....FUCK!
Take a midol, cupcake.
Tell me I'm lying....
