I agree with both of you him at leadoff would be the best since they have been grooming him for that position at AAA.

I thought i read he is batting 2nd due to how well Harrison has been hitting and since tonight's starter is a lefty?

I would like to keep Snider in the org honestly. I think he has some value, but yea it sucks that were essentially replacing Walker with Polanco. I assume Polanco is batting leadoff tonight, or do you bat him #2 to take Neil's spot?

Snider, Tabata, they can both go. Neither of them have a future with us, heck they are 5th and 6th on the depth chart for us. Let me take that back, 7th and 8th since they should both be behind Chris Dickerson as well. When Lambo gets back, then they are bumped further. Neither of them hold any value to me, or by the looks of it, anyone else in major league baseball.

I like it, but would prefer to see Marte hitting 8th. I doubt that would be a popular sentiment, I just think it would free him up to do some things on the bases that having him behind Pedro won't.

Well I hear what you are saying, and don't necessarily disagree, just when you have varying levels of marginal guys, would rather have more than less if possible.

Fair point, it is easier to run in front of the pitcher since the downside is less.

Blake Taylor is PTBNL in the Ike Davis deal. He was our second round pick last year. If I remember correctly he is a HS LHP. Sucks to see him go in the deal, but he was far enough down in the system that it should not be a huge loss.

Well not really a shocker but I highly doubt he will decline assignment since he will get paid 10 million to play minor league baseball.
