In Beltre we trust.
If Rua can hit .280 with 20 homers....That would be damn neat.
Just turning the game on. How'd we score?
Saw the second run.
First run was an IF single that plated Nick Williams from 2nd. Rua lead off the inning with a double and they replaced him with Williams and with 2 outs Rosales had an IF single.
I would not be surprised if he does that. He might very well lead the team in HRs if he does. He will probably hit 17 or 18, but 20 is well within his reach. If Rua can hit .280 with 20 homers....That would be damn neat.

Lead the team with 20 homers? Are you seriously kidding?
Was last year the only time ever Texas failed to have a 20 homer player? My thoughts exactly.
I don't see anyone hitting substantially over 20. I think anyone who hits 20 will be within 2-3 HRs of the lead if not in the lead. I do think we will have several players hitting between 15-20 HRs.Lead the team with 20 homers? Are you seriously kidding?
Beltre and Fielder both will likely hit 25 or more homers. You're being overly pessimistic. Mitch if he can stay healthy should hit 20 himself.I don't see anyone hitting substantially over 20. Until last year you mean? Beltre led us with 19 last year and no one else was close.Just looked it up. The last time the Rangers failed to have a 20 homer hitter was the 1981 season which had a strike.
It probably happened a few more times before then during the dead ball era, but yeah expecting someone this year to lead the team with 20 homers is absurd.
Beltre and Fielder's best years for HRs are in the past. Both are trending down. Mitch staying healthy is not likely either.
