Look out for the BSOHL comment from Elvis and every other player in the next few weeks.
Nothing has any meaning till they holler PLAY BALL. Then we'll see.

I'm pretty interested to see how good of a manager banister is. Maybe he can have this team playing way over expectations

Was there any conversation by TEX this off season about resigning Kevin Kouzmanoff?

The last I heard about him was that he was opting for free agency. I don't believe he ever signed with anyone.

I think he's going to have to wait to get a clean bill of health before he gets a ST invite from some club

If we are healthy then I do not see us doing that badly. Yu will need to pitch better against AL West teams though and I believe he will.

He's gotta pitch better vs Oakland right? Moss and most of his nemesis' are gone

I still don't understand why right handed pitchers would throw Brandon Moss fastballs or anything else over the plate...

I'm not gonna challenge him with fastballs on the plate if I'm pitching to him.

I like TR Sullivan. But can anything be more obvious than this.....

ARLINGTON -- Rangers pitchers and catchers report in 10 days and Robinson Chirinos appears as if he'll stay at the top of the depth chart. Chirinos looks like he'll make it through the winter as the Rangers' No. 1 catcher.

Pretty much...In other news water is wet.

I did enjoy the article after he got past the obvious.

he led all AL catchers by throwing out 36.2 percent of attempted basestealers. That's not bad for a guy who started his professional career as an infielder before switching to catching in 2009. That's the same percentage that Sundberg, a six-time Gold Glove winner, threw out in his rookie season with the Rangers in 1974. In 10 seasons as the Rangers' catcher, Sundberg bettered that mark five times and was under it in four others.

Moss isn't on the A's anymore? If true, that's awesome. I hate that guy. He always seemed to hit a HR when Oakland needed it.

Evan Grant and Gerry Fraley were on the Rangers Roundtable on The Ticket this morning. Gerry thinks they will win about 84 games this year. Evan was more vague, but thinks if healthy they could win as many as 90.

The subject of Ron Washington came up. Gerry thinks Wash will resurface as a coach in Oakland in 2016. Evan thinks he won't be back in the big leagues anytime soon. He thinks if he comes back to baseball anytime soon that it might be as a minor league instructor to avoid all of the questions.

They were asked about any young prospects who they thought could contribute this year. Evan mentioned the possibility of Chi Chi and Kela.

Banister was referred to as Hurdle 2.0.

Evan said the key was keeping our top 4 starters healthy. He mentioned how our first 5 starters of the season last year, Scheppers, Perez, Ross, Saunders, and Martinez, totaled about 300 less innings than the team with the next least number of innings from their first 5 starters.

Gerry mentioned how a scout told him a year ago that Prince's bat speed had declined to the point where he couldn't lift the low inside fastball like he used to. That resulted in those balls being turned into ground outs to 2B.
